As one of the foremost script consultant’s in the UK in the UK my services are always heavily in demand, this might be for an original script, script editing or a rewrite on someone else’s work, or suggestions on how to fix a screenplay that isn’t working. This work can come from producers in the UK (and across the world) or from writers / directors themselves.
One of the services that I offer to anyone is script reading or script coverage. For a low start fee, you can get direct feedback from a BAFTA shortlisted screenwriter with over 20 years’ professional experience.
Over the years, I’ve seen the rise of online script readers offering anonymous script coverage, which is often of low quality – how can they judge your script – if you don’t know the professional experience of the person reading the material? The mind boggles that these companies even exist – offering anonymous advice, without qualification.
My script reports are (I’m told) some of the most detailed on the market (often over 20 pages of notes, feedback and ideas for a feature length script) and I don’t charge an arm or a leg for the service either, and if requested I can often give further advice via email after the writer has read and absorbed the report.
Get in touch with me on matcoop23@yahoo.co.uk for a chat about my script reading service. Prices are below, and turnaround is usually about two weeks or less. Whatever you do, make sure you know who’s reading your script – because anyone can give advice, but when it comes to script reports, you want to make sure the person knows what they’re talking about.
Prices are:
- Short film script report £50
- TV drama up to one hour script report £80
- Feature film script report £120
