I’m so very pleased to be lending my talents as a UK script consultant to the Page Turner Awards by being a judge in the Page Turner Awards this year.
The awards which were founded by Ken and Paula Sheridan have been dubbed the ‘Rolls Royce’ of Writing Awards. I was attracted to being a judge by the simple mission of the awards, which is — to change as many writers’ lives as possible.
Giving Screenwriters a chance to get work read
They do this by helping to get new writers discovered, helping published authors get their writing recognized and celebrated, and giving screenwriters the chance to have their scripts read by recognised film industry professionals.
Free script report from UK script consultant
I’ve already blogged many times about a how a scriptwriting competition changed my life at age 19, and it’s still true today–that winning or placing in a scriptwriting completion can have a massive impact on your career (even helping you to land an agent).
