Regular readers will know that I’ve directed a feature length horror film called Markham, this film was shot for nothing, a total zero budget production (actual cost I’d say is around £2,000). I’ve been shooting and editing the film on and off for nearly two years.
If my Script reading service and work as a script writer for hire and script consultant, hadn’t been so busy the film would have been completed about a year ago, but I can’t complain about being highly in demand.
This week, is the final week I’ve given myself to complete the film, and hopefully it should be available to buy and stream by the end of next month.
It has of course been a huge learning curve for me, I acted in the film, as well as working as cameraman and producer.
Alongside locking the edit this week, I’ll also be blogging about Markham for the next month on this website and across on the website that showcases my work as a director – Matthew Cooper Director
It’s exciting to be finally finishing the film, it’s literally been a mad journey to get here. Over the next few weeks you’ll be able to read more about the journey, more about the film, and much more about how it was made. So, stay tuned…
